Warner Theatre

The Warner Theatre is the largest performing arts center in Northwest Connecticut. Events at the Warner include concerts, professional touring theatre/dance, movies, digital opera, orchestral and big band concerts, community theatre, arts education classes for age’s pre-K to adult and student productions. The Warner has partnered with the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network and together we are offering classes in journalism and broadcasting at the Warner. In addition,an in-house CPBN news bureau is now located in the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education. Last season approximately 70,000 patrons attended 170 events at the Warner Theatre. There were over 500 student registrations for classes/lessons at the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education. Along with these programs, the Warner Theatre maintains an extensive outreach program donating over $30,000 in tickets to the underserved population and other non-profits throughout Connecticut. In addition, over $29,000 in scholarships were awarded to students in need. The Warner Theatre’s mission is: To enrich, entertain, and educate our communities through high quality performing arts and arts educational opportunities, preserve the theatre as a historic landmark, and contribute, in partnership with others, to the betterment of our region’s way of life and economic vitality.
