Audubon Center Bent of the River
of Matching Remaining
Bent of the River is a part of the National Audubon Society. Audubon’s mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the Earth’s biological diversity. BOTR is a 700-acre sanctuary, educational facility, and visitor center that provides a wide variety of conservation programs and activities. BOTR focuses on school programs and summer camps as well as adult educational programs. We work on local, State, national and international environmental initiatives through science and education.
Funds raised through Give Local will help Bent of the River offer local programming to kids and adults; enable us to continue the longest running study of shrubland bird species in the US here at the Sanctuary; keep our trails open and maintain our historic barn and house.
